Fireplace wood
Wood heating has become popular again!
Apart from the warm homeliness and the special atmosphere that wood burning in the fireplace creates, it has one more important advantage - it is a quality heat source. One cubic meter of beech wood equals 215 liters of fuel oil.
Modern fireplaces, being the only heat source, make it possible to heat a house of as much as 150 square meters. It is also advisable to take into account the benefits for the natural environment resulting from using a renewable material, i.e. wood.
Traditional wood, the best for any fireplace.
Deciduous tree wood with a thin bark layer (beech, birch) is the most efficient to use in fireplaces with an installed insert. It is highest quality fuel: it burns longer than coniferous tree wood and it gives much more heat.
Kinds of wood:
Humidity: from unseasoned to seasoned.
